Maghi Festival is celebrating in the occasion cold day of the winter season. Maghi is called Maghe Sakranti , the festival falls in the month of Magh as a Nepali Calender and observed across the country. As a Nepali slogan "Chaar jaat 36 barnako Phoolbari Ho" like said, people belonging to Chhetri, Bhrahman, Newar, Magar, Tharu many communities are celebrating Maghi festival on their style.
Hindi religion, Brahman and Chhetri take ritual bath in popular river like known as religious. And also worship in various shrines and temple after eat special foods including Sweet Potato, Sel roti, Khichati(Mixed of rice and lentils) and yam.
